tis the season

This time of year I want to get out the needles, fabric, hot glue gun, colored pencils and just make something cheeky-crafty to give to my friends. But with all my sewing work, preparing for holiday markets and online sales, I usually get burnt out and can't find the time to get my craft on.

Lucky for me, I have some very creative friends. Sitting down to play and let your creativity flow is refreshing and renewing. I hope you all have a 4-year-old niece you can get crafty with over the holidays, like I do. I'm so looking forward to it!

In the meantime, here's some sweet little projects my pals have been making. I'm sharing to show off their skills AND to get you thinking about that crafty project you'll be making this season. :)

Ornaments from Meg

How sweet are these handmade ornaments from Meg? She likes to forage her garden for the many, many acorns that fall and make lovely nature inspired gifts for her lucky friends, like me. :) That peanut just makes me smile.

Joan's journalsJoan used fabric from our bundles to cover her daily journal. I love how she colored in the fabric, like a coloring book! This would make such a lovely gift to the journal lover on your list.

bertille's treeBertille made this adorable tree from some of our printed fabric. Isn't this a cool idea?
